# Vatnix

> Vatnix is UK VAT software for a small business or sole trader. It splits any gross or net figure into net and VAT at the UK rates, shows which box of the VAT return each total lands in, tracks the registration threshold on a rolling twelve months, and keeps the digital records Making Tax Digital asks for. It computes and records; it does not submit returns to HMRC, which needs HMRC-recognised software.
